Do not ask to test!

We place great emphasis on discipline and the mastery of each technique at every level. You will not progress
unless everything is demonstrated to be at a proficient level and successfully used without applying thought.

Additionally, we expect you to demonstrate respect for your surroundings, your elders, superiors and fellow
students. For those in school we expected you to keep up with your studies in school and as well as you
responsibilities at home. Education is the key to unlock your future!

Do you know where confidence comes from? Confidence comes from knowledge. Each time you take the
belt test, you demonstrate that you understand and can execute the required minimum basics to meet your new
belt level.

Each time you test, you reaffirm your past knowledge and display your new found knowledge and skills. At the
end of the test... celebrate! It builds your confidence and self esteem and you deserved it. Display your new knowledge - build upon your confidence level - one step or one rank at a time

“My instructor once told me that the first five dan ranks come for what you've gotten
out of the system, the next ranks come for what you've given back”.
